Prologue
It was a cold evening. A hunter with a big gun on his shoulder was proceeding toward the deep forest. The ray of light was barely penetrating, the dense. The ground was damp may be because of huge rainfall the previous night. A small girl may be of 7 holding a hunter's hand was walking cheerfully through the shrubs. Another hunter slightly younger than the other was walking behind them.
‘Anaya, walk carefully this forest is known for poisonous snakes’, said the hunter holding the girl's hand
‘Then why you always come here. Mom is always worried about you’
‘What can we do, I have to feed you and your mother's stomach. Today I am gonna hunt a big treat for you’, he chuckled.
‘why do you brought her here, this place isn’t safe for her’, the hunter behind them opened his mouth.
‘She was insisting for long. I can’t say no to her, can I?’ he faced toward his daughter.
Despite reaching deeper and deeper no prey had gotten on their hand, the disappointment was spread on two hunters face, but Anaya was just happy to be there. She sometimes was running above her father pulling her hand from his grip and sometimes was plucking leaves of shrubs.
It was already dark, and George (Anaya’s father) was not ready to return home without food.
‘Dad! Someone is crying’, Anaya screamed
From far ahead howling was heard. George and his friend went toward the sound, carrying Anaya behind.
‘We can’t miss it’, George was screaming. Deeper inside the forest there was a cave at the edge of a hill, in front of it three baby wolf were seen playing. George and his friend along with Anaya were already there looking at them from behind a big tree. George signing Anaya to keep her mouth close dropped her on the ground.
George was aiming his gun on them, a grey wolf with blue eyes which was not so normal on wolves was the biggest of them, it was forcing the other two wolves not to fight. When George was about to fire aiming on that grey one other two wolves one brown and other black came out from the cave, they seemed to be the parent wolf. Despite hunting in the same forest for 10 years George had never either seen that cave or those wolves. He and his friend were so deeply concentrated on those that they didn’t even realize Anaya going away from them. The grey wolf was the first one to see Anaya there. She was going near it intending to play with it like the other two wolves, she was just a child not knowing that the thing she was thinking as a mate was a predator.
George was still focused on the wolf. Suddenly the grey wolf which was slowly moving toward Anaya ran toward her showing it’s pointed canine. George noticed Anaya there, out of agony he fired his gun which mistakenly hits Anaya right on her chest in her heart. It didn’t take them long to realize the grey wolf was attacking a bear which was about to attack Anaya. Knowing he hit his own beloved daughter George threw his gun away to reach Anaya who was bleeding and dying on the ground. The grey wolf was still fighting the bear. Two parents wolf came to help it but all of them were injured by its attack. After a long flight, the bear ran away leaving the grey wolf bleeding on the ground. It was bleeding from its neck lying on the ground ready to die. Anaya and its eyes met they both were in pain. Despite their condition, neither George and his friend nor those wolves interfered with each other they both were on the verge of losing their loved ones. After some time they both took their last breath.
