"Daddy, I miss you!" A three years old Alexis Maximus Redwood run towards his father when the car stop and made Russell carry him. He hugs his tiny arms in his father's neck and settles his head on his father's shoulder.
"I miss you too, son." Russell hugs his son tight and kisses his temple as they walk towards the Alpha house, their home. He greeted his sister and Amethyst when he pass them.
"How's your trip?" Rose Marie asked her brother that been away for a few weeks because of Alpha Convention and visiting four packs before coming back home.
"Exhausting! Fifty-eight Alphas in one room were chaotic. I don't know why the Elders have to arrange that kind of meeting after what happened last year." Russell replied. He sits on the couch but keeps his son in his chest, hugging him still.
