Tristan’s POV I nodded at the servants as they greeted me while I walked up the stairs of the mansion, heading towards my wing in the house. Tessa had told me when she would be coming back, so I gave her an extra couple of hours to get settled in before I returned. I managed to get Sebastian’s incessant questions done before I left. I had no idea when he became this inquisitive, but I wasn’t going to put myself in such a situation again. Letting out a sigh, I scaled the stairs faster, eager to get to my destination. “You’re a couple of minutes late, Tristan.” Tessa’s voice came through as soon I made my way inside. “I got carried away during my meeting with the boys, I’m sorry.” I apologized as I unbuttoned my shirt. The aroma of freshly cooked food wafted into my nostrils.
