Jealous

Daniel called someone.

"Daniel. I hope you don't do this. You've always hated parties. You don't know what dangers are there. You're in an unstable condition anyway. This is bad," said Alex.

Daniel hung up the phone. He looked at Alex who was looking at him worriedly.

"I have no choice. Jane is still gone and I can't just let her go." Daniel snapped his fingers. In an instant the clothes he was wearing turned into clothes. He wore jeans, a short t-shirt and a jacket.

"I'm leaving," said Daniel.

"I'll take you," said Alex as he ran to the car and immediately sat behind the wheel.

"You're pretty persistent," Daniel said as he sat down in the chair next to Daniel.

Alex smiled faintly. As Daniel's best friend and guard, of course he couldn't just risk Daniel's safety. Even if it's just a party for teenagers, who knows if suddenly an insignificant party will turn into a disaster.

"I don't think you like Jane that much," Daniel said.

Alex fell silent. He had no particular reason why he didn't like Jane. It's just that her instincts always tell if Jane is a woman full of deceit. Alex's experience with women makes his judgments about women always accurate. Alex fears that what he feels about Jane is true. He was worried that Daniel would be in danger because of that girl.

"That's it, Pink. Drop me off near him," said Alex.

"Okay. I'll follow inside if I feel danger," said Alex. He immediately headed for the parking lot prepared by the Leon family.

Leon's yard is decorated with colorful party lights. Many cars are already parked. Seems like a lot of invitees have arrived. Pink who was standing near the entrance smiled seeing Daniel's arrival.

"I didn't expect you to change your mind," said Pink.

Daniel didn't answer. He was just as flat-faced as ever and looked around.

"Come on in," said Pink.

Daniel walked behind Pink into Leon's house. Leon's birthday party was extravagant. The party was celebrated in the living room which turned out to be very outside. The living room of the house is a garden and a large pond. Lamps, tables, chairs, decorations and various foods are all available. Everyone looks happy. Sometimes they move to the rhythm of the music playing.

Several invitees who were present at the party suddenly noticed Daniel's arrival. Even though the clothes he wore didn't suit everyone, he was still impressed. Moreover, Daniel forgot to comb his hair. Although messy, other people actually thought it was a leading hair style. With his messy hair, Daniel is even more attractive.

Daniel didn't care about everyone's stares. His pair of sharp eyes were busy searching for Jane's whereabouts. It turns out that the girl looks attached to Leon. They look friendly. Seeing this scene, Daniel's previously calm feelings became chaotic. There was an unstoppable feeling of anger that Daniel was trying to contain. Especially when the music is playing slowly. Without hesitation, Jane immediately accepted Leon's hand to dance. Everyone followed in Leon's footsteps.

"Let's dance," said Pink.

Daniel was about to refuse but failed when Pink said he just wanted to heat up Jane.

"I know if Jane actually likes you. Therefore please help me get my girlfriend back," said Pink.

"Boyfriend?" asked Daniel.

"True. Leon was actually my boyfriend, but Jane took him. Jane thought that if she could beat Leon she would be more famous and the center of attention. Jane doesn't really like Leon," whispered Pink.

Daniel glanced at Leon's place and realized that Jane in Leon's grasp was aware of Daniel's presence. Without thinking twice Daniel grabbed Pink's waist close to his body. Then Daniel gently took Pink's hand and started leading the dance. The two of them look like a perfect couple. Everyone focus on Daniel and Pink.

"At this rate I might fall in love with you, Daniel," Pink whispered.

"Don't dream. I'm just helping you. Stay awake," said Daniel, clarifying their purpose for attending the party.

"I'm sorry," said Pink.

Daniel finished his best dance, and everyone present immediately gave them a round of applause. Leon as the host invites Jane to visit Daniel and Pink.

"I don't want to, why would I do that," said Jane.

"Of course because we're friends," Leon replied annoyed. He immediately grabbed Jane's wrist and dragged her over to Daniel's.

"I didn't expect you to be the star of my own party," Leon said.

"I didn't mean to," Daniel replied. "Sorry."

"It's okay. Your presence makes my party even more festive." Leon was overjoyed but Jane turned her attention elsewhere, as if she didn't want to be involved in the conversation.

An emcee called everyone to gather in front of a medium-sized birthday cake on the table. Leon who heard that immediately took Jane to the host's place. They stood in front of the cake and everyone present sang Happy Birthday.

Leon immediately blew out the candles after praying. Then he cut the cake. The first piece of cake he gave to Jane. He fed Jane attentively. They are both really a romantic couple. Meanwhile, Daniel's heart was pounding at the sight.

"The party's about to start. We're old enough to taste the sweetness of the drink in our throats."

Daniel's words were greeted with enthusiastic shouts from the invitees. Not long after that many waiters came out carrying trays of drinks in glasses.

"Is that an intoxicating drink?" Daniel asked Pink.

"True. I've been drinking a lot so if I drink a glass until I finish one bottle I don't feel drunk."

Daniel did not clearly hear Pink's words. His eyes widened when he saw Jane drinking the glass of drink that was offered by Leon. Then without hesitation Leon kissed Jane on the lips. They both engage in a hot kiss. Daniel who saw it felt like he would lose control of his emotions. He immediately went to the toilet and poured out all the emotions of anger and jealousy seeing Jane.

"Why do you want Jane. Did you ever date many men before we met again," Daniel said to himself. Daniel felt anger, regret and helplessness. As a result of the energy, the mirror in the bathroom broke by itself. Meanwhile, the electricity goes out and comes back on again and again in a fast time. The oddity made Leon release Jane from his arms and ask the security guard to check the lights.

Daniel who realized the noise caused by him immediately got out of the bathroom. Meanwhile, Alex who saw the lights flashing and other lights exploding could think that Daniel was very angry. Alex hesitated between going inside or not. Some of the lights went off again. If Daniel is not pacified the whole house and its contents will collapse.
