Bad Visit

Alex held his head which hurt but didn't hurt. Complicated, that's the right word to describe the condition of his brain. Daniel's request was beyond his imagination. There's no way he'd let Daniel go back to campus. Daniel's state of being on the verge of becoming an adult makes him have to keep his distance from women. Of course the campus has quite a list of women studying there.

"Should I blame you?" Virgo said.

The five knights, Ben even Bella all gathered in the hall.

"It's not Alex's fault, the girl is too spoiled. It's just Daniel's burden," Bella muttered.

The five knights immediately looked at Bella with disapproving looks. Bella wasn't in a proper position to comment on Jane.

“Anyone with a controlling amulet?” asked Ben.

Zayn raised his hand. “I am the most reliable. Even the amulet that Alex wore, I was the one who made it.”

"Good. Just send Zayn to accompany Daniel. So you don't have to worry," said Ben to Alex.

The idea was enough to make Alex relieved. But entrusting Daniel's safety to someone else feels like it hurts Alex's soul. He has been following Daniel for a long time. And it has become a habit and part of his life.

"You're right. Seems like a good decision," said Alex.

"Don't be sad. You've been by his side all along. So, give the others a turn. After all, they're just studying," said Ben.

"What if I go to college too?" Bella asked.

"Don't dream," said Ben, making Bella gloomy.

"Okay, my decision is final. Zayn will take care of Mr. Daniel while on campus," said Alex. He immediately dismissed the meeting and prepared all the needs for Daniel and Zayn, to enter Jane's campus. He also needs to appear before the chancellor of the campus. In the midst of his busy life, he asked Virgo and the others to take care of Daniel. Meanwhile, he invites Zayn to go to campus.

Daniel himself locked himself in his room. His mind kept thinking about Jane's situation on campus. In fact, since he had never met Jane. He didn't even think about the girl. But since meeting Jane again, who would have thought that the girl would continue to bother him. Especially when he realized that Alice had risen.

“Damn it. This is bad. What did that girl do with that boy. Are they dating!?!” Daniel shook his head alone. He opened the window with his index finger. The wind that came in from the garden carried the scent of plants and flowers that refreshed his mind.

It had been a long time since Daniel had buried his feelings for Alice. He never even expected his wife to come back again. In the past, he had asked Marsha to use her all to bring back Jane. During this time Daniel kept all his secrets to himself until he found a way to save Alice or Jane. He wanted Jane back to normal. But he had not found the way he had been hoping for.

Daniel climbed onto the window frame, then he jumped on his arms outstretched. Daniel turned to face the sky. Then he floated right above the flower garden that was blooming. Next, Daniel made his hands into a pillow by bending them under his head. He sleeps floating. With his will too, the flower petals that have bloomed old fall off one by one and fly in the air around them. The sight was seen by everyone in the house. Bella immediately captured the incident with her cellphone. So are the others.

Daniel who was focused on looking at the clouds that were slowly moving over the sky, felt a sense of peace. It was a way to keep him from feeling frustrated. He had to be able to control his feelings. Daniel's job is to look after Jane and make sure the girl's life is as normal as any other girl. Daniel will try to be a good older brother rather than a husband to Alice. It was her choice and his promise to Edward and Sarah.

Suddenly a violent wind blew and hit the entire area. Daniel immediately put a veil around himself. He stood floating warily out of the fence. His least favorite guest came to visit. Surely what brought the group of advisors was Jane's presence at her house. It seems that news from people's mouths spreads faster than any media.

Five black-robed men appeared at the gate. Their arrival changed the atmosphere to be tense. The unfriendly aura was felt by all the vampires in Daniel's house. Leo, Virgo, Philip and Mark immediately flew over and stood in front of Daniel to be his protector. Meanwhile, Ben asked Bella to be quiet and wait to see the situation.

"Good morning, Prince. You really shine and your scent can be smelled from a radius of thousands of miles from here. According to the news circulating. You are really charming," said one of the five black robes.

"After all this time. What brought you to visit us?" asked Daniel.

The four black-robed men barged in and inspected the scent of each room. Daniel didn't like their impolite manner. But he held back to minimize clashes.

"Prince, this is against the rules," Virgo whispered.

"I know. But we have to restrain ourselves first," said Daniel.

Before long, the four black-robed men returned to their positions. They report the results of their work.

"It's true. You brought a girl into your palace when you were at your peak, Prince," said the black-robed man who seemed to be the leader.

"Right. Why is that?" asked Daniel.

The black robed man laughed.

"I think you like the girl. Is the girl your future queen. From the human race?" asked the man again.

"None of your business. You're not in a position to sue me let alone judge me. You're just a patrol supervisor," said Daniel confirming their position. After all the way they came and proved the truth was very disrespectful.

"You're right Prince. But we are no ordinary supervisors. We are supervisors of the future leader of the vampire world. We will make sure you don't make mistakes, like sleeping with a woman who is not your wife."

"Don't be presumptuous! Watch your mouth!" shouted Virgo furiously.

The five supervisors laughed and then disappeared as the wind blew in the opposite direction of the previous wind.

"What do they mean by coming?" asked Mark.

"Surely all the vampires have heard the news about Jane in this house. It seems I can't go easy on that girl anymore. It seems that not only humans are suspicious of Jane, but vampires can hurt her."

Daniel descended to the earth. "Has Alex already taken care of my preparations to mingle in campus?"

"They're working on it. Don't worry." Philip answered Daniel's question.

"Tomorrow looks like I will be busy being a student. How about tonight we go hunting," said Daniel.

"Of course, Prince. We won't be able to resist it," said Virgo, while the others laughed.

"Daniel, it's dangerous if you keep Jane in this house," said Ben appearing at the door together with Bella.

Daniel didn't answer.

"They can kidnap the girl, and threaten you to give the red dragon crystal," said Ben again.

Daniel stopped in his tracks. He turned and looked at Ben. After a moment of silence, Daniel stepped over to Ben and whispered something in his ear in an ancient vampire language that no one but Ben would understand. After that Daniel left followed by his four knights. While Ben was transfixed with a pale face.

"Uncle, what did he say?" Bella asked worriedly.

Ben didn't say anything, but his eyes showed deep concern.
