Nathaniel’s POV “I had a wonderful time, love,” I mumbled quietly as I held my wife in my arms. “Thank you for going on a date with me.” I kissed the top of her head and breathed in her soothing scent. “Thank you for taking me out on a date,” she said quietly. I smiled and let her go. “Always, love,” I said as I lifted my hand and cupped her cheek. “That was just our second date of many that are ahead.” I looked at her lips and gulped. I wanted to kiss her so badly. I missed the feeling of her lips moving against mine. I didn’t want to push it, though. I wasn’t sure if she wanted it as much as I did. I wasn’t sure if I would cross a boundary. I had to wait for her to tell me it was okay. I had to wait for her to kiss me first. So I just leaned in and placed a soft, lingering kiss
