Chapter 14 - Head Full of Steam Later Tuesday Afternoon, November 17th Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department Zanesville, Ohio –––––––– ANDREA ANDERSON WALKED back into the Sheriff’s Department building with a head full of steam. She flashed her credentials at the Sergeant on desk duty and went right to the elevator, not even bothering to sign in. When she got upstairs, she found Mel’s outer office empty. Hearing voices coming from down a short hallway she knew led to the conference room, she decided to check there for Mel first. When she got to the room, she found Mel, Holly, both of Mel’s detectives, a couple of deputies and a woman she didn’t know, all arrayed around a county map that was laid out on the long conference table.
