Emma smiled faintly as she listened to Richard's way of coming up with an alibi. She knew that Richard was doing it so Gracia wouldn't continue to suspect them.
Gracia turned to Emma. She tried to ask the girl for an explanation. "Is that true?" asked Gracia. And Emma nodded in approval of Richard's statement.
"You already know?" Gracia really couldn't believe that she had missed out on such important information.
Emma didn't want to talk about it anymore. She chose to invite them to walk faster.
On the way to the meeting room, Emma and Richard quietly held each other's hands. But when people are passing by. They quickly let it go.
Once in the meeting room, Richard behaved as usual. He showed his professional attitude. He also made sure Emma entered in a very safe way.
