Inside the police station, Emma is greeted by investigator Roger, who recently came to Albert's office to inform of Emma's summons.
"Miss Emma. Thank you for coming. I thought you wouldn't come because you were so busy," Roger said kindly. Emma still remembers this man. At the beginning of the case, he was in charge of working on it. He wasn't this friendly before. Roger hardly even smiled at Emma. Emma wondered why the man had changed drastically now. Social status does have a lot of influence.
"Roger?" Richard suddenly greeted Roger like someone he knew. Roger hadn't been watching Richard very well. He only focused on Emma.
"You..." Roger tried to take a closer look at Richard. "Oh, My God! Richard Karl!" Roger immediately hugged the handsome man. He smiled so wide.
