Next Morning
I wake up to the sounds of kids running in the hallway. Zayna and Liam ran around while laughing. Sleeping late isn't much of a choice with kids around the house.
"Guess they woke you up, huh?" Esme says to me with a chuckle.
"Well, with the kids, they are a natural alarm clock for people like me who have difficulty waking up early," I said as I laughed.
I smile as I stretch and get ready to go downstairs for breakfast. I look outside to see a blue sky with no clouds.
"what a beautiful day," I say to Esme as a smile appears on my face.
