Biglang tanong ni Esha as we spend our night at the hammock outside the house. Malamig na ang panahon pero di ganun kalamig. The moon is shining brightly at the sky na nagbigay ng liwanag sa gabi. Nagpapausok kami kaya walang lamok.
The hammock is big enough for the two of us. We lay together facing each other. I put her legs above mine. She is slowly trusting me to get closer to her.
"Well I came from a very powerful family in Mindanao. Family of politicians and entrepreneurs, we do business. I lived a pretty good life back then. We can get what we want in terms of money but my dad is manipulative. His hungry for power, money and fame, like our lives just live with it."
