Zale Kent Vasco I can’t explain what i have been feeling today; I’m agitated, mad, frustrated like i want to punch someone at the moment just to release my anger. My mind still cannot get on with the situation. My shipment to Australia was caught by the custom and currently under investigation. Isa sa mga tauhan ko ang naging pabaya sa kanyang trabaho. According to initial investigation there’s a drug on one of the container kaya pinahold ang buong shipment. This shipment involves of millions of dollar in value. I can’t afford to lose this. I need to loosen up; i need diversion baka makapatay pa ako dahil sa galit. I hate negligence. This situation never happens to me before. I am very careful with my transaction, kaya mahirap i-accept. It’s not only about money, its my reputation as a businessman is in the line. Matagal kong pinaghirapan kung ano ang meron ako ngayon. This achievement, the level of fame and success i had now doesn't come over night. I guess i need to relax myself. “Marco, drop me somewhere, where i can relax, a bar perhaps.” Utos ko sa aking driver at the same time bodyguard. He drops me into a place where it’s new to my eyesight. As i scan the building, i see a group of girl's picture hang in the billboard. This is not the place I usually hang out. I look at my driver. “Gusto mong magrelax sir; promise mag-eenjoy ka diyan;” pikit balikat niyang saad. Okay why not. This place may help me i hope. I step inside, the security personnel doing their job meticulously. Not bad for a strip club, i value my safety as well. As i walk myself inside the club. I look around, not bad, the place screams class at tahimik for a so called strip club. As i get closer to the bunch of people I hear a sweet serene voice singing a song, a very calming song. Napapahinto ako sandali. I may get into a different place. How could a strip club have a mild singing session? I continued walking straight near to the stage. I want to see the woman singing that song. She gets my attention, was intrigue what she looks like coz her voice is fantastic and melodramatic. Puno ang lugar ng maraming lalaki and few girls. Nakikita ko na di basta basta ang pumapasok sa lugar na ito. Those guys have money with their looks. Everyone seems fascinated to the woman singing in the stage. I settle myself to the table in the center, 3 tables away from the front row. She was bowing her head, like feeling the music but the melody of the song gets to me. I find it relaxing because of her voice and the way she sings it. The one i needed at this time. She got a sweet voice that captivated all the guys inside including me. As she tilts her head up to look at everyone, our eyes meet. She never smiles to everyone, she bears no emotion, her expression has no life. I can’t explain myself; I’m captivated in her eyes. I look at her na di kumukurap and same din siya sa akin like our eyes talk in that moment. We hold our gazes for minute. The song is kind of sad and i see her eyes looking sad as well. A reflection of sadness and longing, like something terrible happen in her. I am into her in that moment, never mind what's around me. Then the song ended. Umalis ang babae sa harapan pero para parin akong namamalikmata. What just happen back there? Di ako makapaniwala like i was enchanted for a moment. I guess going here is not bad at all, surprisingly biglang nawala ang lahat ng alalahanin ko ngayon gabi. It’s just around a quarter pass 10 in the evening. A waiter goes to my side to ask my order. I just ask a glass of whisky gusto ko lang ma-relax. Then the stage replaces with different girls dancing, they all look sexy but they never gets my attention like the previous performer. I am looking forward to that girl to perform back. I ask the waiter kung kakanta pa ba siya. The waiter said he will ask the lady. After couple of minutes the waiter told me that in 30 minutes the woman will perform again. Kaya nagalak ako, i wanted to see her again. I am patiently waiting for the performances of the woman by sipping my whisky. There were girls attempted to talk to me, ask if i need company but I said no. I prefer to be alone; I don’t want to be disturbed by watching her perform. “Guys, the time you have been waiting for has come. The last performance of our queen tonight. Let's welcome Queen Esha.” Announce ng kanilang emcee. It seems he is referring to the woman just sang while ago. I feel excited, para akong teenager sa pakiramdam ko ngayon. The place turns black. Biglang tumugtog ang malamyos na music. A song played in sensual way like inviting you to dance with it. Naguluhan ako bigla kung ano ang mangyayari. Anticipation is also building up in me. Then few lights slowly came back, making the place looking dim. There’s she is, dress in a very exotic way. The dress hangs in every curve of her body, showing her enticing figure. A tiny thin dress that covered a portion of her body and the rest were exposing to the expectators. All the guys in the room, napanganga habang tinitingnan siya dancing slowly in a sensual way in the tune of Sacrifice Song by Elton John. I feel i share my heart with her. I ask the waiter if it’s possible for her to talk or be with me. Suddenly bigla kong na feel na baka i-table siya ng iba, ayokong maunahan ng iba. Looking at the gentlemen around, i know they all want a piece of her at bigla kong naramdaman na ayaw ko siyang i-share sa iba. Wala pa siyang pinayagan na makausap kahit sino man pagkatapos ng trabaho niya." Paliwanag ng waiter. Napahanga niya ako dahil sa sinabi ng waiter. It seems she has a principle. My name is Zale Vasco of Vasco Industry” Utos ko sa waiter. “If you persuade her, you will get something from me.” Inganyo ko pa sa waiter. I really want to talk to her; I don’t know why suddenly i have this urge to know her. “Sige sir i-try kong sabihan kay Ms Queen.” I was anticipating for the result, no one will say no to me, so positive ang tingin. Nakita ko na paparating ang waiter na inutusan ko. “Sorry sir pero mahigpit ang bilin ni Queen na wala siyang kakausapin maski isa tonight.” Paumanhin ng waiter. He looks ashamed. “Does she know who i am at sino sa amin dito na gusto siyang makausap?” I can't believe I'm rejected tonight. "Oo sir deniscribe kita sa kanya at sinabi ang pangalan mo pero katulad ng iba wala siyang pinayagan. Kung ano ang trabaho niya dito ay yun lang ang ginagawa niya." I feel insulted sa ginawa niya. No one has ever done this to me, never anyone had neglected me. Bigla akong nilukob ng pagkadismaya. I leave money to the waiter and walk my way out sa club na yun. “Who are you to insult me that way woman? You are nothing but a w***e in the night and yet you have the audacity to say no to me?” Nagngingit ang kalooban ko. Ang pinaka-ayaw ko sa lahat ay yung mapahiya ako. I never accept defeat, losing is not my game.. "One day our path will cross again. And you will see who i am. You'll pay for rejecting me.
