After driving for a few hours, we abandoned the car in the forest and covered it with branches and leaves as well as we could. The car was packed with smell neutralizers, so we used it on everything we could and started walking.
I gave Arianna my change of clothes and we have some food and cash with us. However, we are going deeper into the forest.
- Why are we going there? – she asks me after a few hours of walking.
- We need to find someone, Ari, - I say and hand her our water bottle, - And if I am not mistaken this someone leaves by the lake inside of this forest.
- Wow, who would live here? – Arianna shrugs in disbelief.
