The Following Week
When Daniel walked into the break room of Ed’s law firm, he noticed Ed was in there already with his associate, Lehua. They were laughing and enjoying some Kona coffee. The fragrant aroma of peach, raw almond, and sweet marzipan filled Daniel’s nostrils. He was unfamiliar with the local coffee since he wasn’t a coffee drinker himself.
“Wow, what’s that smell…” he said before taking another deep breath to savor the aroma. “…it smells delicious with a hint of fruitiness.”
“Have some, bro,” Ed urged after taking a hefty sip.
“I’ll have a small cup.”
