Bölüm 2: Unwanted Destiny II

1009 Words
Running seems like the only way out. The door slams shut and locked behind me. My hands are shaking feverishly as I grab an array of my clothes and shove them into the open duffel bag on my bed. I take some few essentials from my drawers and shove them into the bag too. I didn't bring much so I'm not carrying much. As I sling the hand of the bag over my shoulder and wipe a tear from my cheek, a knock on my window almost sends me. But then I face the source and see Jackson. Oh, Jackson. He's been my best friend since forever. His blond hair is always packed and his blue eyes always seem to sparkle even when he's angry – your typical boy-next-door package. He's always in those band tees and jeans, looking like he just walked out of some indie rock gig. I've never been more thankful to see him than I am now. He mouths with his lips for me to open the window. I rush and do so. “Jackson…” I bite my lips and begin to cry again. He holds me and hugs me through the open window. “That dickhead didn't allow me to enter when you guys were having your talk. But I was able to catch some things.. Shhh,” he rubs my back then pulls away and looks into my eyes, “What did he do this time?” I shake my head vigorously, “ I'm confused as hell. Grandma's talking rubbish, I swear. I..I don't…I don't understand anything that's happening.” “Dix…just tell me…” he finally notices my bag, “where are you going?” “I need to leave. Like right now. I'll explain later, I promise…please help me.” “But, Dix…” “Please, Jack. Just help me. I promise I'll explain things later.” I say with watered eyes and I slowly watch him give in. He nods and helps me out the window. Grounded, I scan the area and we both hold hands. Thank God the window is facing the back of the cottage and the forest is onward. Without exchanging any more words, we both sprint into the forest whilst holding hands. We're panting, sweating and panting. Anytime I want to look back, I hear Jackson tell me, “Don't, Dix. Just look ahead.” And that's what I've been doing for the past two minutes. Until, I hear a loud tumble and my hand is disengaged from Jackson's. I fall to the floor and my vision gets blurry. “Jack!” I cry out his name but get a growl in response. “You already know why I call you Piggy,” Oh no, that voice, “But do you know why I call you stupid? Cuz you do stupid things, in stupid ways, with stupid people, for stupid reasons, and with no sense of planning whatsoever.” I look up slowly and it's my worst nightmare. I was foolish to think we could outrun him. Trix grabs my hand and drags me to my feet. His eyes are burning with anger as he presses his nails into my arm. I let out a silent cry. “Stupid!” My lips tremble, “Please, Trix, don't do this. Just let me go. I swear I won't ever bother you again.” He laughs darkly then frowns at me, “You'll get married to me, whether you like it or not. I already have too much to lose.” He forcefully starts dragging me and my struggles against his hold just leave me tired since it's futile. That other lady I'm guessing is his P.A meets us and Trix gives her a chilling command, “Kill that swine.” He says so gesturing behind us then continues dragging me away. My eyes widen as I finally remember Jackson. I turn and see her hover around a semi-conscious Jackson. I cry out to her to spare him. “Please, don't hurt him. I beg you! Please.” She then stares at me and for a moment, I see something less sinister than I thought I would see in her - Pity. Thankfully, she resists. She instead knocks him out and catches up with us. I'm relieved but it's for a short moment. I remember who's dragging me. We're back at the cottage and grandma is at the door. Look at her. She's not even doing anything to stop this bastard. “Gra-” Before I say anything, a car pulls up in front of us and I'm shoved inside. The lady is the driver…but how did she get in the car so fast to- My thoughts are cut off by Trix's voice, “Sit still.” I stare at him with anger and fear in my heart. In this strange turn of destiny, I feel trapped, and the walls of my resistance are closing in on me. I then glance at Grandma who's stretching her hand out. “Grandma!” That's the last word that echoes around the cottage till the car disappears in the forest.. •×• ~ Flashback ~ ~ 3 days ago ~ ~ 4:67 am ~ “What are you?” I'm rooted to the ground, my limbs unable to take me away from this apparition in front of me. No, it can't be real. I want to call my grandma but I can't, and what can she do?! This thing's eyes are slanted and as it opens his mouth and bares its teeth at me, I let out a soulless scream. “Ahhhh!” Within seconds, I feel a huge fur ball hit my face which sends me to the ground. It's its tail. It's growling at me as it stands over me and it's now I see the outline of a guy in its face, but it's not just anyone. It's the person who's made my life a living hell for so f*****g long. It's Trix! My f*****g bully!
