I've been keeping my distance from Demetri for most of the day. Last night just reminded me of the type of person he really is and that I shouldn't get close to him. I am his house keeper, that's all. That's all I've ever been. The thought of having these moments with him stick with me though. Maybe I'm just being vulnerable. Maybe I need a date. While taking a break from mopping the kitchen floor, I pull out my phone and text Chris, the cell phone guy from Best Buy. I am surprised when he immediately texts back. After texting back and forth for a bit, he asks me if I would like to go out tonight. Excitement builds in me as i answer just as Demetri walks into the kitchen. I try to hide my small smile, but it's too late. He raises an eyebrow "What's so amusing?" "I have a date tonight" I
