It’s been a month since he left, and still no word.  She finally stopped asking for him, and last week I refused to try to reach out.  James texts me once a week to check in and say hi.  He tells me what he was doing, but we both avoid talking about Ryan for apparent reasons.           I woke up to my phone ringing on a Monday morning.  I answered it without checking the caller I.D.; “Hello?”           “Hey, sexy,”  Ryan replied on the other end.  “Haven’t heard from you in a while.  I miss your voice.”           “Whatever, Ryan.  I called you for three weeks straight to hear from you, and you didn’t reply.  Your daughter has finally stopped asking for you.”  I hissed into the phone.  I hung up and went into the bathroom since I felt like I was going to be sick.            He called m
