Other than her usual morning sickness during the first trimester of her pregnancy, Leila had craved even more food. She loved eating small bite-sizes of fresh fruits like pineapples, green mangoes, strawberries, kiwis, grapes, apples and melon; small bite sizes of blanched vegetables like carrots, broccolis, asparagus, baby cabbages or Brussels sprouts, cauliflowers, okra, pechay, and mustasa (mustard); and small bite sizes of fresh tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber. For the meat, she loved chicken cordon bleu, lamb schnitzels, beef stroganoff and grilled salmon.
