CHAPTER TWO REID The new house is so quiet it’s disturbing. I don’t want to hear my own thoughts. The guys only left an hour ago and I’m already lonely. Not that I’d admit that to anyone. I don’t even like admitting it to myself. But the last six months have sucked. The lies, the separation, the divorce. Moving from couch to couch, from spare bedroom to hotel room. Now that I’ve settled in my own place, I should be happy to move forward, to finally have a place of my own. I open the fridge and stare inside.
