In 2040, virtual reality has been something that can't be separated with daily lives. Its wide range of usage from medical research, educational purpose, to entertainment world makes it become one of the top priority of the technological development. Every country either it was government agency or private sector, all races to be the first one to make improvement on the virtual reality. One day, a genius shows up. At the age of 17 he increased the virtual reality realism to 90%. At the age of 20, he created more than 100 apps to help human life improved and easier. Finally, his field of research on virtual reality falls to the gaming section. "No, this is wrong! Virtual reality games shouldn't be like this!" When he first gets in touch to the virtual reality games, he immediately went into a rage. He looked at the game mechanics, the way how the current games are played and how the player played the game. "This is all wrong! This doesn't make sense. A virtual reality games should be incorporating fantasy and illogical elements like magic and abilities beyond normal human capabilities but this is wrong. It still should have some logical understanding. It doesn't make sense on how lifestyle class such as merchant, blacksmith, chef and many more to have low combat ability. If it was on the real world, even a top class martial expert can die to a five years old child that is carrying a gun. Even though battle class such as swordsman, archer, and magician have high damage output, it doesn't mean that the lifestyle class can't compare to them. Alright, I have decided, I will create a brand new game that defies everyone current logic and create my own definition of virtual reality gaming." Not long after that, the name of the virtual reality genius, Schneider disappeared from the common people. When everyone almost forgotten him, he comes back 20 years later without any notices. What he brings back with him when he comes back is a new game 『Aaru』. The game boosted a 99.99% degree of realism which awed the world. The game itself becomes an enigma that enchanted everyone. It was stated that the game will be launched 3 years later at the 1st September 2070. The time before the launching of the game was used for registering and buying the game gear. In a form of a dark colored glasses, 『Syder』 or Synapse Reader becomes the newest trend. Not only it was usable to browse the net when it wasn't used for the game, its ease of usage is what the people has been looking for. As it read the synapse that woks in helping neuronal function, it also works the same way by transmitting neuronal commands which resulting in only 0.01 second delay from the moment a command was issued until it was run. Finally, the game will be launched in one month but a great issue was discovered. Schneider was nowhere to be found which leave the staff flabbergasted. All efforts have been done to find him but to no avail. Until one more day of the launching date, he is still missing. All in all, there is no way back to delay the release date since it has been hyped throughout the years. The staff decided to go with the original plan. At 1st September 2070, the game 『Aaru』 was launched. It leads the world to a new gaming era in no time. However, Schneider the genius has been missing since then. The only thing that reminded the world that such genius has existed once was the game he created and the welcome speech of the system which is voiced by him.
