The white Nissan Altima bolted from the off-airport rental car parking lot and took the Avenida Los Angeles on-ramp to reach eastbound PR-26 highway towards Carolina. They decided to forgo attending the festival and head to the hotel. The city quickly faded into the horizon as the Nissan continued to PR-66 highway towards Fajardo. Lush tropical trees lined the highway as far off as the eye could see. To the far right of the highway as the Nissan drove, a large mountain peak jetted upward in the sky nearly covered in mist.
