Was he trying to play pranks on her? Was that some kind of joke? What the hell was he talking about?
“I was there at the restaurant. My family was upstairs for dinner and I arrived while he was yelling about your clothes. I had gotten the feeling to come to punch the hell out of him, but I was with my kids and couldn't do that.” He said.
“Holy s**t!” Ruby whispered. She couldn't believe that her boss had seen her in such an embarrassing situation. Maybe he had recognized her the first time they met and that was why he didn't want her, but that didn't sound like it. It didn't make any sense.
As if he heard her thoughts, he said. "I didn't even see your face or anything, but I knew you didn't deserve how the ass was treating you. He had no right to embarrass you that way.”
