Raedrick looked over the railing and nodded appreciatively. "They did a good job repacking that drift. You can't really tell the difference between that spot and the rest from the road. But…" He looked around again, out to the expanse of the lake, where even now some of the shacks that a few enterprising souls had set up out there still stood, despite the turn in the weather. Julian had tried to join Horace and a few of his friends ice-fishing a time or two, and aside from the ale involved he didn't really see the appeal.
