Chapter 17, Saunders Coleson: Saunders had spent his time wisely since leaving the secret room. He wanted to shout from the rooftops his discovery, but he predicted it would get squashed. He’d spent his whole life cloistered in the temple, it never crossed his mind to question the teachings of the Brotherhood and their rise to power. His growing consensus was that new information was held in contempt. He ventured to the highest point of the temple where he inspected the buildings outside and came to an immediate realization: the structures were different. As if they’d been built by two different peoples. From outside, looking over the buildings, it was easy to tell the older buildings from the newer. Why had no one noticed before? The answer was easy and obvious once he thought about it.
