Unsure how many days, weeks, or months would be needed in the city, he decided two would be better than one. He needed to move around two different circles with ease, and having access to independent networks would make his life easier. First, he needed the persona that would get into and out of the ruling-class areas, the pinnacle of granite the mayor’s home was built on. He reached the summit with an invitation from his mysterious benefactor, but he needed credentials to move about its inhabitants and be welcomed into their circles. He needed a killer back-story.
