8 It took Kieran a while to figure out how to use the SatNav on the dashboard of the BMW, but he was glad it was there, and even more glad that Howard Skinner had programmed his address into the home function. Without that, he didn’t know how long it would have taken him to find the house he was now parked in front of. He sat behind the wheel for more than a minute while he searched the front of the house for anything that might suggest it was not the safe place he thought it was.
