It took Kieran a while to figure out how to use the SatNav on the dashboard of the BMW, but he was glad it was there, and even more glad that Howard Skinner had programmed his address into the home function. Without that, he didn’t know how long it would have taken him to find the house he was now parked in front of.
He sat behind the wheel for more than a minute while he searched the front of the house for anything that might suggest it was not the safe place he thought it was. He was glad the drive was largely hidden from sight by the hedge that bordered the front garden, he would not have wanted to sit there if anyone in the neighbouring houses or walking along the street could see the car, and him, easily.
