“What do you think is behind the thick forest?” Young Amy asked, clinging to the branch of the tree she climbed as she gazed from the top of a hill at the density of the forest. The forest seemed to go on and on toward the distance with no end. No one spoke about the end of the forest or what could be in there. Naomi sat under the tree cracking nuts, feeling less interested in what she was doing.
