“You need to come with us.” The firefighter approached Tatum as soon as he was treated with his wounds.
“What?” Tatum asked nonchalantly and very annoyingly, “Are you going to put me in jail after saving that mother’s child?”
The firefighter, taken aback by Tatum’s nonchalant attitude, responded with a firm but measured tone. “No, if I was to be followed, you should be jailed for endangering the entire mission.”
Tatum chuckled under his breath, “Mission.” He mocked as he scoffed under his breath. “What are you? Some kind of superhero? Or, like a super secret agent? Give me a break.” His tone held a hint of sarcasm, and the firefighter immediately found Tatum’s remark a mere display of arrogance. Tatum has always been so arrogant. He added, “I saved the kid and the dog.”
