Chapter 3: Sarah, The Mistress

" The Diamond Agency is all ours, Kendrick. If we divorce, the Agency will not come to you but will come to me instead!" Jasmine responded to him when he said he wanted the Agency.

" In that case, there would be no divorce, and I will be free to do what I want in my interests." He made his point emphatically.

"If we don't get divorced, you won't be able to spend time with your lover!" she responded emphatically.

Kendrick gave her a friendly smile.

"No, I can do whatever I want, even if you are married to me!" he exclaimed, which caused her to become confused.

"Can you explain what you mean?" she inquired.

"I will make sure that you provide me with what I desire!" he said.

After they had a chance to talk, Kendrick walked out in front of her. Because of Kendrick's offences against her, Jasmine was left confused.

'What he's talking about?' Jasmine pondered to herself.

Jasmine merely groaned and went to her room to get some rest. As she walked inside their bedroom, she noticed Kendrick gathering his belongings, including everything, including her laptop to his cell phone.

"What are you doing with my belongings, Kendrick? You're going to get those, aren't you?" she was taken aback and asked him.

He smiled at her and said, "I need to make sure that there won't be any problems, Jasmine," he answered.

"What exactly do you mean by this? What do you have in mind?! " She addressed him directly.

"Hmmm, I had it in my head that you would be staying in our home all day! You are not permitted to leave the house, and you will not going to use your laptop, phone, or anything else!" He responded to her.

She widened her eyes as a result of what he has just said. She didn't comprehend what was going on, but she did notice something strange.

"Why would you want to stock me here, Kendrick? What exactly are you saying?!" Jasmine asked more at him, puzzled by what he was doing.

"Until you give me the Diamond Agency, you're going to have to stay here inside the house!" he answered candidly in response.

After saying what he wanted, he dashed out of the house and broke the electronic devices he had taken with her.

Jasmine was left alone in the room, completely bewildered. Kendrick didn't care if she didn't understand what was going on as long as it was clear that Kendrick wanted the Diamond Agency.

Jasmine sat up in her bed and contemplated something.

' The Diamond Agency is mine! My parents built it with great effort, and they gave it to me so that I could keep it going!' Jasmine thought to herself.

Kendrick walked back into the room a few moments later. He was getting ready to take a bath.

"I'm leaving because I have something important to take care of at the Agency," Kendrick told her as he walked toward the bathroom.

Jasmine remained silent as she sat there watching his husband enter the bathroom to take a shower.

When Kendrick was able to get himself together, he left the house as soon as possible to go to the Agency.

When her husband left, she also made plans to go out with her friend, Jessy. She needed to talk to Jessy about something. She needed to tell her what was going on between her and Kendrick!

As soon as she was completed her preparations, she left his room and walked out of the house.

She was on his way to her car when she was stopped by one of their security guards. Jasmine looked at the security guard and inquired as to why she had stopped her.

"Ma'am, Sir Kendrick has ordered us that you will not be permitted to go out," the guard responded to her when she asked.

"What makes you think you'd want to follow him? You know that I am also your boss, so if I want to go out, I will go out! " She inquired the security guard.

" I apologize, ma'am, but it was a Sir Kendrick directive that we were following," the security guard explained.

"If I decide to walk out, there's nothing you can do to stop me. You won't be able to stop me!" Jasmine yelled at the security guard.

The guard looked at his companions and signalled him to talk to Jasmine.

Jasmine turned to face them.

"Why? Why did you do this to me?" As the guards got closer to her, she asked them a question.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, but we have no choice but to subject you to this treatment. Our work and personal lives are entirely unrestricted here. "

One of the guards came over to her and answered her.

They grabbed her shoulders and dragged her inside the house, even if it was against her will.

"What exactly is the problem with you? I have to get out of here!" Jasmine yelled at them, but they didn't appear to be paying attention to her.

When the guards let Jasmine into the house, the other household members were present to keep an eye on her.

"I can't believe that this is happening. What was it that Kendrick told you?!" Jasmine confronted the servants.

"Sir Kendrick instructed us not to allow you to leave the house. He also seized our cell phones, which he then destroyed. Additionally, he threatened that we would lose our jobs if anyone found out about his order and if we allow you to go out ma'am! " a servant answered her queries.

"What are you talking about?! What happened to make that happen?!" Jasmine looked at them as if they were crazy.

The servants bowed their heads because they have no idea about Kendrick's instructions.

"I can't believe this!" she had said.

Jasmine was unable to do anything but remain inside their home. Her options were limited, so she chose to isolate himself in her room for how many hours.

When she heard the sound of a car approaching, she hurriedly rose from her bed to greet Kendrick.

She needed to speak with her husband because he had forbidden her from leaving the house.

When Jasmine walked into the living room, she was halted when she noticed the woman who had been with Kendrick at the restaurant.

The woman rolled her eyes inside the house while she clutched his arm in hers.

Kendrick and the woman both turned to stare at her. It was as though the woman was trying to belittle Jasmine with a sly smile.

"Does she happen to be your wife, Hon?" the young lady inquired of Kendrick.

'Hon?' Jasmine asked herself.

"Yes, Sarah, she is my wife," Kendrick responded thoughtfully while looking at Jasmine.

Sarah let go of Kendrick's arm and stepped closer to Jasmine, who was waiting for her.

"She's a complete and utter waste of space here, Hon! She's beautiful like me, but she won't have the ability in having children with you! " Sarah remarked on her as she walked around her and observed her.

Because of what she had just heard, Jasmine tightened her fist. As she turned to face Kendrick, who was just standing there calmly staring at the two of them,

" What this woman is doing here, Kendrick! " Jasmine became enraged and yelled at her husband.

"Wait a minute, haven't you told your wife about it yet, Hon, that I'm going to be alive here?" Sarah responded.

"What exactly did you say?! You're going to live here? The sheer thickness of your face! Let me tell you that you are nothing more than a mistress that ruins relationships!" The insult was directed towards Sarah, but she appeared unaffected by what she said.

"Oops, but keep in mind, Jasmine, that even if you're the wife, I'm the one who the man you're in love with approaches?!" Sarah addressed her in this way.

"It is not my fault if you are unable to provide your husband with what he desires! Call me Mistress if you want, but I know in my heart that he desires me, too!" She went on to say more.

Because of what she had heard, Jasmine couldn't keep herself shut. She turned to Sarah and dragged her hair.

"Jasmine!" Jasmine was startled when she heard Kendrick yell at her.

"It's time to get out of here!" Jasmine was shouting at Sarah as she was grabbing her hair.

Sarah retaliated against Jasmine, which resulted in the two of them getting into a fight.

Kendrick interceded with the two of them in a short time. He grabbed Jasmine's arm and yanked it away from Sarah with both hands.

Jasmine's balance was thrown off by his vigorous pulling, causing her to fall to the ground.

Kendrick assisted Sarah in getting herself organized, and then he turned to face Jasmine, who was sitting on the floor nearby.

" Is it true that you're even more on that woman's side now, Kendrick?!" Jasmine confronted her husband with a yell.

Kendrick's eyes constricted as he looked at Jasmine.

"If something happens to the child in her belly, Jasmine, I will never forgive you!" Kendrick confronted her with a yell.

Jasmine's eyes widened as she realized what she had just heard.

And she couldn't believe it when Kendrick revealed that Sarah is pregnant.
