"I've prepared the second room on the left for you," I informed Diana, wanting to make sure she felt comfortable. "Mine is right next door, just in case you need anything." She nodded in acknowledgment and began to make her way down the hallway.
As I watched her disappear from view, I couldn't help but think that my apartment was straightforward enough for her to find the room without any trouble.
