MY PHONE RANG at six o’clock in the morning, and I unwound Leo’s arm from around my waist, then slipped into the bathroom.
“Emmy?”
“Why are you whispering?”
I shoved the bathroom door closed with my foot. “I, uh… Leo’s asleep.”
I was surprised when her shriek didn’t cause the building to disintegrate, let alone wake Leo. “You’re sleeping with the hot dude?”
“No!”
“I thought you were staying in a one-bed apartment?”
“Okay, so we’re sharing a bed, but we’re not f*****g. Clothes have remained firmly done up at all times.”
“Hang on a sec… Bradley!” She dropped the phone and shouted for her assistant.
“You bellowed?”
“We need to organise a pool. Fia and Leo.”
“That muscly guy Dan was drooling over?”
