Once Aconi had removed herself from Becca's sight, she finally gave herself a chance to survey her surroundings. The silence that had apparently been I only imagined in her head faded away and the gentle cries of the other girls that had also been auctioned filled her ears. It was nothing short of disturbing, and that was not just due to the fact that she was already bad with handling over emotional people, but the girls that were acting like there was huge doom impending caused her calm act to falter. She had not given herself gruesome images of where she was headed and she sid not need anything to inject them into her mind.
