Iza's POV...
I am now staring at the window. I can see the busy city outside. Cars and people rushing, minding their own business. I wiped the tear drop that has fallen from my eyes. Alyssa will be accompanying me tonight but she needed to go out for a while. She says she needs to buy something.
When will my life get better?
I sighed and looked outside. It's getting darker as nightfall creeps in.
"I'm so sorry, princess." he says.
That's the last thing Austin said to me before leaving. After telling him my side of the story, I felt a great burden being lifted up from me. And I felt light for the first time in a long time. Maybe, it's a start.
A start of something new.
