She's human and doesn't know how packs work." I said to Diego. We are bonded by blood to our pack as a beta the bond is instant and the need to protect the alpha and luna of the pack is ingrained into a beta's DNA once we take the blood oath. So When Lynn swung at Summer because she had officially become luna my instinct was to protect her from the threat and in that moment it was my Lynn. The look in her eyes showed deep hurt and betrayal. She had been so guarded with me at first she didn't understand anything about other half mates but still let her guard down even after everything she's been through.
