Chapter 6

Kalahari.

His stare at me was more than enough to tell me . Ronny and Troy understood the assignment. He's yet to see what I will wear in our wedding.

He possessively held me by my waist drawing me closer to him. His height dominating mine .

His blue eyes were desirable yet cold . I looked to my left at the flashing lights as he gazed at me .

He was so close to me I could feel his body heat and heart beat.

I don't understand why a good-looking man like him would choose to be so frigid.

He leaned to my neck , planting trails of tender kisses . I couldn't help but chuckle . What is he doing, we are to act not do as we act .

" you have no idea how I wish to bite off a chunk of your neck out so you drop down bloody " he muttered his lips still on my neck .

He's trying the arm-twisting games I see.

" my knee is directly on your balls. I can as well squeeze the oxygen out of them . You will drop down in agony before your teeth bite my flesh "

He glared at me . At my eyes then at my lips . His venom stare hard on me .

An evil grin appeared on his face. I was not liking that grin at all .

I turned to walk away , he drew me back as if we were dancing , and leaned me to his side.

It happened so fast one moment I was walking away next I am beside him leaning a few meters from the ground as he held me His right hand held my left leg on the knee joint up while his left hand held my back .

This dance would have looked hot if we were actually inlove.

He grinned.

" I can break your vertebrae like this " he uttered

" be my guest" I replied with a fake smile .

He helped me up held my hand as we walked away from the glaring spectacle a great show for them to talk about.

His grip was tight on my arm. I think he was one sneeze away from crushing my arm .

" Pierce " came a hoarse voice.

We both turned around.

" not saying hi mate "

Pierce had a frown which vanished as soon as the camera flashes clicked.

A very familiar face ,I swore I know who he was. I have seen him ,I adored him .

" Damien Crane " Pierce blurted with a bored tone .

Damien's gray eyes shifted to me .

I saw him on magazines, back home .He is so Charming and alluringly handsome .

He is the man that played James Bond .He's more handsome in person .

I let out my hand to greet him instead he gently held it and kissed my palm seductively.

" oh my! What a gorgeous lady you have here. She's prettier in person than in the pictures of her on the papers. "

" she's my fiancé, "

Pierce took my hand and led me away.

The headlines will be spicy am glad he's foaming .He's been too proud.

We had a view of the film , it wasn't really as I anticipated , too modern and too many explosions .I didn't find it interesting.

I don't like too much action.I couldn't even stay till the movie was over.

I got up.

" where are you going?" Pierce quizzed.

" the ladies room ,unless you want to help me piss"

He growled silently.

I made way past the theatre and to the ladies .

I promptly marched in .

Looking around the restroom looked quite different, there were urinals instead .

Shoot, I entered the wrong rest room.

Just as I was about to step out the door opened.

That was one embarrassment .

Damien marched in , when his eyes met my confused gaze he smirked .

" am sorry ...I entered the wrong restroom" I apologized shaking.

" no worries love , your accent, are you from East Africa, Kenya ?" walked past me .

" uh yeah? How did you know ?" I was puzzled.

" I was there a few times for vacation and shooting . It's a beautiful country with beautiful women ." he stated .

" thank you , it is a great country"

He took a piss , I looked away.

Why was I still there?

He cleaned his hands.

I wanted to adjust this dress a little I needed to open the zip and stretch it bit then draw the zip up again .

I didn't care if he was there , if he could take a piss while I stood there who am I to fear .

I reached to my back battling for the zip which was slightly lower , I couldn't reach it.

" may I ?" he asked .

Can I even trust him, I don't really know him besides glaring at his magazine pictures while I was younger. He hasn't aged one single bit .

" you can trust me "

Maybe I can .

" yes you may "

He unzipped my dress as I held my braids to the side. I held my front as it loosened.

I adjusted with one hand as the other held the dress from dropping.

He zipped it up slowly.I felt comfortable .

" how much are they paying you to fake it ?" he asked .

" excuse me ?"

" I can pay you twice as much , we all know he doesn't love you , all this is for show. "

I turned to face him.

" I love him , he isn't paying me for anything , no one is . Can't a woman just love someone with people judging them. I love Pierce that's all that matters. I don't need your p*****t ."

" come on Kalahari , we both know he can't stand you , come on say it , how much is he paying you "

" his love is paying me. I can't believe all of you think this is fake ! Please respect my future husband and I ."

" Kalahari"

I raised my hand at him to not even continue.

" love cannot be bought."

I walked out of the rest room and back to the theatre . The film was already over .

" may I go home ?" I asked Pierce.

" we have an interview so no , hold it together ,you will run to your tiny lonely cage once this is done " he responded coldly.

I gave him a glare and shook my head .

I can't believe I defended this man .His heart is made of diamond, so tough and hazardous. He has nothing called feelings .He relishes hurting others, but in the end I won't let him get to me . I will do things my way , have my rules.

After the movie Anna met us briefly .

" you both killed it , your dress dear ,is to die for " she remarked .

" thank you Anna " I replied .I didn't have that excitement as she did .I lied for this i***t of a man and his thank you is basically treat to me so bad.

I can't wait to get back home , soak in the bathtub as I read a storybook, something I will read for the kids . Away from this man and his negative energy.

" Anna is it possible if we reschedule the interview, I am really not feeling well"

" it's okay dear, I will ask Diana to postpone. "

" thank you"

She strode away supposedly to look for Diana.

I turned to leave .

" where are you going? "

" to my little lonely cage as you call it , I call it home "

I walked away from him past several people and out of the event.

The streets were lonely . Only a long road .I don't know where I am or how many kilometers I have to cover but I will get home.

I was walking home .There was no cab on sight.

Rain drops poured heavily on me .I had to hurry. I checked my phone ,it slipped and fell right into the crack filled with water.

" s**t" There goes my phone.

I was already soaking wet ,in a few I will get a flu I can't afford a flu while teaching the kids.

A car suddenly beeped next to me .

" get in girl" I turned to my right .

I rolled my eyes , him .

" I will walk thanks "

" the press could be watching get in Kalahari" Pierce stated .

I chuckled.

" no one is dumb enough to risk his equipment in this rain , it's in the middle of nowhere. " I replied.

" there are waterproof equipments" he said

He was driving at my walking speed.

" Kalahari dont make me get out , get in "

" I said I will walk , f**k off Pierce , the wedding hasn't arrived "

" get in the car young lady"

" you are not my daddy " I replied .

The downpour did little to help me .It was increasingly worse.I was shivering .

" you will catch a flu , do you want to teach while sneezing and coughing. Kalahari please " he pleaded .

Did he just say please? The gods are quacking.

I stopped and gazed at him, I was also walking barefoot

I got in his car. He shook his head .

"We are miles away from your home .No way you would have made it"

My teeth were cluttering.

He turned on his AC to warm , a warm breeze filled the air .

Neither of us spoke .We got to my apartment gate.

He parked his car on the side of the road.

" would you like to come in?" I asked.

His eyes shifted to my breasts , my n*****s were hard .He cleared his throat.

" get out of my car woman!"

I raised my hand in surrender. I opened his door and walked out. I didn't even look back at him , I shut his door and walked away to my home. .

I can't wait to have a warm bath and great sleep .
