“And seeing as you’re here, you probably feel the same way, huh?”
“Something like that.” I’m mostly trying to escape the monster in one of the rooms here.
“Well you’re in luck. I know just the place.” She says before taking my hand and before I could say anything else, she whisks me away like my knight in shining armor.
In this case, a princess in a shining dress.
Not that I minded. If I could get away from everyone–especially Atlas–with a girl that seemed to think like me, I was game for anything.
She walked around the mansion like she knew exactly where to go, and I wondered exactly who in the world she was.
A few minutes later, we ended up in what looked like a movie room on the third floor with its own concession stand filled with food, drinks, and candy.
