Thursday came in the blink of an eye and I sighed as I sat comfortably in my brother's car. I knew I had 3 more days left before having to return to work but something about returning to the city where I was bound to run into Jon made me feel on edge.
"You okay?" Derek asked, cutting into my thoughts.
"Yeah, just tryna figure out what imma be doing for the next few days to occupy my time."
