I kept on hearing those words like a broken cassette. I let out a deep breath and then tucked Ava into bed when she fell asleep.
I faced Aunt Elizabeth after a while who is busy crocheting a bucket hat for Ava.
I sat across from her and watched her while she is crocheting.
"Are you okay?" she asked after a while then looked at me.
My eyes were directed at the yarn looked at her then stared at her face for a couple of seconds before nodding my head.
