They had arrived at the fourth floor, and the elevator flew open. There was no one there, except for the sudden bang that came from the door leading to the stairs, and a pink shoe that had been left behind right in front of the door.
Dave skipped out and looked around, his eyes falling on Isabella's shoe. He picked it up, then stared at the door, and back at Adrian.
" She just left" he said waving the shoe, " this belongs to her, why did she leave it behind? "
Adrian glanced at the kid, " Wait here, I'm sure she'll be back any minute" then he turned around and headed for the elevator.
" Where are you going? "
" Somewhere. To have a little chat" Adrian replied pressing the elevator button.
