Funny how the night changes so fast, and not in a good way. Adrian just sat down there, staring into space. He wasn't moving at all, but the look in his eyes was more intense than before, and the Aura he gave off now made the room cold. Any normal person would turn around and leave at the moment, fearing if they took another step the man would launch at them and tear them into pieces.

But, not Isabella. Despite how everything looked, she didn't want to fall into conclusions. She's never met anyone like him before, so it's not right to assume he would hurt her, even though he's choked her before.

She was aware of the risks, but still moved forward.

And as she did so, All her fears turned into Ashes.

" Did something happen while I was asleep? " She asked him softly when she got close, squatting down so she could see his face properly.

His eyes moved to look at her, but he didn't reply.

Unable to read him as always, she instead reached out and softly ran her hands through his hair. This always worked for Dave whenever he was mad or something... Running her hands through his hair calmed him down, and she hoped it would do the same for Adrian, even though they're different people entirely.

" You don't have to tell me" she continued, being as soft as she can, " But at least try to be yourself again. I don't know exactly how you're feeling now " she scoffed at herself, " I don't even know what you're feeling at all. All I know of that it ain't good" she sighed. What on Earth is she doing? Her best option is leaving, she kept reminding herself but it's not that easy for her.

She's never been one to leave when someone was like this in front of her. Not with Jess, not with Dave, not even that strange man she had found in the Alley! It wasn't in her nature.

" Trust me, I also don't know why I'm doing this. You're scary alright, but when I look at the bigger picture I'm not scared anymore" she kept on caressing his hair, without taking her eyes off him " I can't help it, sorry"

Slowly but surely, the dimness around his eyes began to dissipate... But not completely.

" You're beautiful even when you look this way" she laughed heartily. She said this to Dave whenever he was mad too, maybe Adrian reminds her a little of her son since they have the same hair.

Then, she hugged him and whispered, " You're gonna be fine, no matter what it is"

She felt his hand come to her waist, and the pressure he put in told her he was gonna push her away. She heard his lips rumble with a slight growl, and she quickly held on around his neck as he began trying to push her away from him.

" Let go, Alexa " he deadpanned.

" Just accept it. You've been the one who's dying for my touch, and now I'm giving it without a fight!"

" Don't make me Angry!"

" I think you already are, Adrian"

" I won't feel it. I'm heartless" He said plainly.

" Well sorry, but I can't help it no matter how hard I try. I'm no longer scared of you!! " She yelled, locking herself against him. With her heart in her throat she continued, " I don't know what this is, but it can't be helped okay? You wanted me here, You said it yourself! You said you're an Alpha, you showed me what you can do, you jumped all the way back here while holding me, and you can change your eyes to those red color... And I amPretty sure you can worse than just that. It is clear you're different okay? And I was afraid at first... So right now would you just shut up and let me hold you, you heartless Alpha??! "

He turned stiff like a board, and stopped trying to push her away. Closing his eyes shut, he let the warmness of her small body gradually take over and embrace him for a bit. For now, he would take what he has and try to forget about the rest.

This is all he needs right now.

Thirty minutes, and they were still in that position. Slowly, he finally let his hands run around her waist pulling her a little closer... Just not too close.

" Let's head to the kitchen, I'll prepare breakfast. You must be tired and hungry" she whispered after about an hour had passed by.

When he didn't react, she tried to pull back but that hand around her waist pushed her back.

" Common, I know you must be hungry" she tried again.

Silence. Then, " I'm not " he replied.

" Of course you're not " she rolled her eyes, speaking sarcastically. And just at that time, her stomach had to ruin the fun by rumbling, killing whatsoever confidence she had built about whoever was hungry amongst them.

" Well now we know, don't we?" She heard him say, and would have almost sworn he smiled as he said so, but when she pulled back-which he allowed her to...He wasn't smiling as she had thought.

" Oh forget it. Just lead me to the kitchen"

In a little while, they were having breakfast. He had seated a little distance the whole while as he watched her make breakfast, without taking his eyes off for even a second. There was something different about her now...She wasn't showing off her arrogant side like she used to before, instead she might have let the caring side to take over.

James had told her that Alexa had never been to his house before, so she's allowed to ask as many questions as she likes " I thought you'd have your own chef like all rich men do "

" I did. He's dead"

She stopped eating, " Why?"

" Why do you want to know?""

" Is there a reason why I shouldn't know?"

" Yes. You can't handle it"

She dropped her fork and smirked, " Try me"

" I tore him limb by limb on this very dining table and fed his head to the dogs down the street" Adrian said smoothly, still chewing on his food like he hadn't just said something... Something crazy!

Bella was glad she had almost finished eating before asking questions, " What did he do to deserve such a horrible death?"

" He messed with the wrong Guy. That's what he did"

" Why do I feel like you're not kidding?"

Adrian then looked up at her, noticed her distressed then said " I'm kidding"

No you're not! You definitely aren't. She wanted to scream, but she held herself back and said instead " Better!"

After breakfast, she began exploring around the house. There was no one else living there now just him. Hes always alone, with no one. She touched everything she came across, wondering if he's always been like this. Alexa had told her that Adrian has always been a cold guy since she knew him, and he's unpredictable.

He can do things that would stun you on the spot.

A sudden presence told her he was right behind her.

" You're coming back to bed with you. We didn't do anything last night" he said.

Her toes clenched on their own " Let's just talk and have a good time like normal people"

" I'm not a normal person, you know that"

She clenched them even harder " I know I know. Let's just do something else" she wanted to say she would go home soon, but what if that stirs up some problem? It doesn't seem like he's letting her go any time soon.

" Huh?"

" Let's take a walk down the street. Oh, you're an Alpha right? Meaning you must have a pack or something. How about we go see your pack. That's cool right?"

" No"

" How about we go out somewhere? The amusement park...ohhhh I've always wanted to go there!"

" No!""

" The Zoo! The museum!

" No! No!"

" The movies. The play. The Stadium!"

" No! No! No!"

" Then where?"

" The bed" he said sternly.

" No! Anywhere but that!"

" Fine. Then Let's kiss, and you'll take responsibility"

" Fine!"

He can't remember when last someone had told him no, and he let the person live. Well, except a certain someone that annoyed the s**t out of him. In less a minute, they were entangled in a hot kiss. As always, he knocked the breath out of her lungs and make her eyes roll and toes curl. Her lips tasted so delicious he couldn't help himself...

He wanted it all. All of it!

And even his C**k agreed on that.

" You said you'd take responsibility" he whispered when he finally pulled away from her a bit, then he pointed at his rod which was now poking through his pants. He was damn hard, " Now, keep your word" he added.
