Chapter 5

*Tobias POV*

"Shut it and leave me alone"

Seriously is he going to give to a rest? Between him and my wolf I don't get any peace. My head is hurting and I am beyond tired.

'Alpha, rogues spotted near the North border’

I jump from behind the desk and sprint downstairs taking off my clothes as I run. I shift as soon as I get through the door, my massive blonde wolf bursting forth, four large paws hitting the ground, I take off running north.

'Sebastian'

'On my way'

As I get closer north I hear the sounds of fighting. I burst through the trees. They are actually quite far onto the pack lands which surprises me. I have no time to question it. My 2 warriors are against 5 rogues. I grab the closest one to me snapping his neck instantly. More rogues start coming out from the trees stalking towards me.

'Sebastian'

'Nearly on you'

I get the next 2 off my warriors that are badly hurt. I throw on against a tree the other I grab by the neck and slam down to the ground. Hearing bones break from the force.

'All warriors report to North border we are under attack'

Sebastian’s black wolf comes running in taking one wolf out instantly. Blood spraying everywhere. For such a nice guy he is an extremely violent killer. I wouldn't have any one else by my side even if he is a complete pain in the ass all the time. I get the wolves off my men first other warriors arrive on scene. I link them to take the injured warriors now.

It's just me and Sebastian left. I look at him he looks at me and nods. 5 rogues left. Together we dive at them flesh tearing, blood spraying, guts spreading. By the time we finish it is a gruesome mess but the rogues are no more. Finally more warriors arrive.

'Clean this s**t up, I want a meeting in my office in half an hour'

'Yes alpha'

Sebastian and I run back to the pack house. I run straight upstairs to my bedroom. I shift before opening the door and walking in. I look at myself in the mirror. I look like s**t. I haven't slept properly, my eye bags have eye bags, my stubble has gone from an attractive length to a haggard rough length, I am covered in blood. I walk into the shower and turn on the water, letting it calm me and much as stupid water can. I hit the tiles. Tiles fall off the wall and hit the floor, smashing even more. I growl. I wash myself and step out of the shower. I link the maid.

'Come up and clean my bathroom and get maintenance'

I search my robe as the maid rushes in. I grab some clothes and throw them on. I walk to my office. Sebastian is already there as well as 20 warriors. I sit down behind the desk. I look around the room with my eyes narrowed

"How are the 2 injured?"

"One is dead and the other is in critical condition"

I slam my fist onto the desk. Sebastian shakes his head at me.

"How did they get so far onto the pack lands, how did I not feel them, what on earth are they after, why were there so many of them?"

"We don't know alpha"

"I want f*****g answers, you are all dismissed"

The warriors leave but Sebastian remains.

"You have to calm yourself"

"Stop telling me what I have to do"

"You have just been extra angry the last 2 days"

"I said you were dismissed"

"But"

"Seriously Sebastian do you want to get thrown in the cells?"

He gets up and shakes his head and leaves. I sigh and get back to work. After a couple of hours I head down to the gym. After 2 hours working out I am absolutely exhausted. I climb back upstairs. Shower and change. I collapse on the bed and stare at ceiling. I try and shut my eyes but all I can do is picture her. My wolf keeps whimpering and I can't block him out. I sigh and look at the time 10 pm. I think I might go for a run. I take off down the stairs and run aimlessly. I suddenly pay attention. I am standing out the front of the dorms. Maybe if I just breathe her scent for a bit my wolf will calm enough to let me sleep. I walk in and up to her room. I stand outside the door with my forehead pressed against the timber. I just need to get a little bit closer. I try the door it is unlocked. I creep over to her bed and kneel beside it breathing deeply. The calm that washes over me is amazing. Before I even know what I am doing. I climb in bed with her. Her back is to me. I can hear the soft sound of her music in her headphones. I freeze as she moves. I don't even dare breathe. She rolls over and wraps her arm over me and nuzzles into my chest. Hugging me like I am a damn teddy bear.

I don't know what to do at this point. Do I try and escape? My wolf is silent. My eyes start feeling so heavy. I pull her close and bury my face in her hair.

I wake early and smile. I actually feel so well rested. I kiss her on the forehead before unwrapping her from my body and sneaking out of the room.

*Willow POV*

I wake in the morning and stretch. I can't remember the last time I slept so well. I feel refreshed and so very calm. I jump out of bed happily. I look over at my sleeping room mate. Yet another guy gracing us with his presence, his whole body on display. I shake my head. I really have to see if I can change rooms. This girl is such a slut. Can't she go back with them? Why does she have to bring them all here, into our room?

Whatever. I don't want to wreck my good mood. I head to the showers and get ready for the day. I just hope I will run into Sebastian again today.

I walk down to my classes. I actually meet a few people today. I see Sebastian as I enter my class to I only get to wave to him, but his cute smile when he sees me, brings enough joy to my day.

*Sebastian POV*

I am sitting at breakfast when Tobias walks through the door and I swear it looks like he nearly has a smile on his face. I jump up and run over to him. I know I should leave it but I can't remember the last time I saw him smiling.

"Where were you?"

"None of you business Sebastian"

"Come on, you look happy, I will send you there every night if I actually get to see a smile on your face."

"I am not smiling just shut it."

I smile and turn around. Mr surly is actually smiling. Even if it didn't last long it is progress. I get ready and head to school. I see Willow just as she heads to class. She looks in my direction, she gives me a big smile and a massive wave. Her wave is so over the top. I love it. Tobias walks up to me as Willow disappears.

"What are you happy about?"

"Ohh so your allowed to ask me but I am not allowed to ask you? Hardly seems fair"

"Fine don't tell me"

"But I want to tell you, it's this girl I met, she is so amazing"

Tobias looks at me with a surprised expression.

"When do I get to meet her?"

"Are you going to scare her off?"

"Why would I do that?"

"Well she will be at the freshman party that we are going to"

He nods and walks off. I turn and walk to my class.
