Jax’s POV
“Where the hell did she go again ?”, Kai asked in obvious frustration.
“I don’t know”, I mumbled with my head hung low. “She just whisked away in her vampire form leaving me behind when I tried to compel her”, I sheepishly answered.
“f**k you, Jax ! How could you try to compel her ? She is too strong to be compelled asshole. How could you forget that ?”, Kai snapped.
“I was desperate”, I defensively said while trying to hold my tears and pulling out my hair in huge tufts in frustration. “I didn’t want her to see me as a monster, Kai”, I explained with regret heavily tainting my voice.
“Calm down, Kai”, Ty softly said. “She will come back to the pack house on her own. Just let her figure out things on her own”, Ty gently added to calm down his mate
