FROM the balcony Summer was able to see the woman that entered the showground. From the swag of her walk, she confidently looked around the area. It was ten in the morning. Last night’s event ended at 1 AM but the arena was able to close at four in the morning. She had a shut-eye for a couple of hours before the cleaners went in at seven. Holding the cup of coffee, she leaned over the railing. She sipped from the cup as she watched the woman. “I heard you own the place now.” The woman stated. Her chinky eyes squinted at Summer. “You heard it right.” “Can I talk to you?” She gulped down the half-full cup before placing it down on top of the coffee table in the small receiving room on the balcony.
