It was the weekend, and finally, we can go to the doctor’s appointment. Dane and I were excited to know more about my pregnancy.
We went early to the hospital and were glad we were accommodated right away. The patient before us did not arrive and so we were called by the doctor’s secretary early as well.
The doctor was friendly and so I felt at ease to talk to her and ask her questions. She made me take the pregnancy test again before letting me lie down on the examination bed.
“Since you were having irregular periods, I would like you to undergo an ultrasound to confirm the due date of delivery.” The doctor explained while she got the machine ready.
