**Evelina’s POV**
Vincent met us at the waterfront restaurant our meeting was supposed to take place. Apparently, Alpha Lorenzo was already there and being a pain.
“He keeps asking what’s in it for him,” Vincent explained darkly, rubbing the back of his neck uncomfortably whilst he led Gabriel and I towards the seating area.
Among a vibrant backdrop of lush greenery, our table nestled, providing us with a peaceful and secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle of the sandy shoreline. From our vantage point, we could see the ocean waves crashing against the shore, white foam glowing in the moonlight. It really was beautiful. I’d been to many exotic places with my own family, but here, with Gabe. it felt…different.
