Gabriel’s POV We needed to get dry and somewhere warm. Evelina was trembling and in danger of developing hypothermia. Amaya’s wound looked worse than it really was but I would feel better if we could get a first aid kit for her. The men I had stationed to keep an eye on Evelina were part of my pack, so I wisely mind-linked them our location. However, it would take them time. I looked at my mate, trembling and lips blue. Indecision warred within me. Which was an altogether foreign and perplexing feeling for me. If I’d known that taking Evelina would lead to her nearly freezing to death.
