I frown and feel a stab of betrayal when I watch Lydia tend to Kade's wounds inside the guest bedroom. She is wrapping his arm in bandages, and I cross my arms over my chest.
"There you go... This bandage should stop the bleeding..." Lydia whispers and tucks Kade's hand to his side.
Watching them together is torture...
I'm standing by the door, unwilling to leave Lydia's side even if I couldn't care less about Kade.
