Chapter 2- The Letter

" Hey Kelly, I'm so glad you're here," I said to Eddy's sister as soon as she reached me.
" Where's that little bro of mine who's always making me proud?" She asked as she looked around for Eddy but there wasn't a sign of him.
" He went to take a call, I'll go look for him, excuse me," I said before I walked off to go find Eddy.
I found him seriously on the phone as he talked to someone.
" Why won't you understand me? I can't, I just can't, that's not going to work okay, so for the last time please stop calling me," He said, sounding pissed at the person before he ended the call and turned. He stopped in his tracks surprised to see me standing behind him.
" Who was that?" I knew it was the person that had been calling him several times, what I didn't was who this person was.
" It's no one, it's nobody important," Should I ask more questions? No that would seem like I don't trust him, I trust Eddy.
" Your sister's here,"
" Really? Let's go," He said happily as he took my hand and we both walked back to his sister.

The class was the usual and I don't regret studying or chasing my dream.
After the class, I walked to the administrative office to get my letter. I know I said I wasn't worried about where they'd be taking me but right now as I stood outside the office I couldn't help but wonder where I'd be doing my one-year internship program.
I knocked on the door and I heard a male voice telling me to come in.
" Hey Katy Katy," He said with a smile as he saw me, he was one of my favorite lecturers so yeah, he knows me.
" I'm guessing you're here for your internship letter?" He asked.
" Yes sir,"
" One minute, where did I drop those letters again…hmm, okay..here it is," He said as he handed me an envelope with our school logo.
" Thank you, sir," I said with a smile as I slowly opened the envelope, I brought out the letter and opened it, and immediately when I saw what was contained in the letter, my smile dropped, and so did my heart.
