(Bella POV)
"Arabella?" He called as I looked at him with a frown.
"Sorry what?" I asked as he stared for a few minutes before looking away.
"My apology. I mistook you for someone else." He said before extending his hand to me. "Your file," he said as I nodded and gave him the file.
"Please sit," he said as he opened the document reading through each line.
"Isabella," he said as I nodded.
"Yes," I said as he hummed uncomfortably.
"Welcome to the Anchor Corporate, Isabella. I hope you know that working here will be hard and you should do your best. If you can impress us you may get your job here too" he said as I nodded excitedly.
"Yes, Sir. I will do my best" I said as he stared into my eyes before shaking his head and looking down.
"You have the same determination," he said with a chuckle as I frowned.
"What?" I asked as he murmured nothing before putting the file on the table.
"Ok. You will be working under me as my inter and as you can see I am the Executive Assistant of CEO"
My eyes widen as I stared at him. Work directly under the CEO? Is that even possible for an intern?
"Your internship will start tomorrow. Today I will show you around and let you know more about the job and what you will be doing. Mr. Anchor will be coming back from his tour conference today and he will rejoin the office tomorrow so you have exactly 1 day to understand how it works. We won't go easy and I expect good things from you" he continued as I nodded my head not knowing what to say.
This really feels overwhelming.
At the lunch break, I walked out of the building to have lunch with my friends.
My legs were aching from all the walking. Mr. Blade gave me an entire tour of the building introducing me to the different departments and explaining their jobs. After lunch, he will show me the different stats and my duty with the boss.
"Hey," I said waving as I spotted Carter on the side rails scrolling through the phone.
"Heyo"
"Where are the others?" I asked as we started to walk.
"At the restaurant. There are waiting for us" he said as I nod and walked with him to the nearby restaurant.
"How was day 1?" he asked as I growled.
"Frustrating. Being alone in such a big company sucks. I have met a few amazing people while going to the main office but I doubt I will work with them" I grumbled as he raised his eyebrow.
"Why?"
"Because I will be working as an intern under the Executive assistant of Ceo" I replied as he stopped on his track.
"Wait. What? You're joking right?"
I only shook my head to his question.
"Is that even possible?!" he asked as I shrug.
"I don’t know"
Once we reach the restaurant we made our way to my friends.
"There comes the lucky intern," Sam said as I rolled my eyes and smack his shoulder.
"Shut up. How was your first day?" I asked as they shrug.
"It's ok. We were given a group assignment. We just have to work on it" they said as I pout and nod.
"What about you?" Mia asked as I sighed.
"She is working as an intern directly under Executive Assistant of the CEO himself," Carter said before I could open my mouth.
"Wait! What?! What the hell?" Liam said as the other stared at me with wide eyes.
"Exactly!" Carter shouted as I rolled my eyes.
"It is already a shock you get to work in the main building of Anchor. But now working directly under the CEO? And that too when you are just an intern?....... Are you sure he said that?" Cassy asked as I sighed and nodded my head.
"Yea. I am pretty sure"
"God! Lucky a*s" Mia said as I laugh.
"I don’t think so. As far as I know, it's overload work. But he did promise me a job in the office if they are impressed"
"No way," they said as I bite my lip wanting to end this conversation.
"Alright let's eat. We don’t have much time" Carter suddenly said before winking at me.
I smiled at him in thankfulness. This is why he is my best friend among them.
After lunch, I walked back to the company. Mr. Blade showed me around the company explaining our job as the Executive Assistant. He introduced me to Elizabeth, the Ceo's personal assistant.
The woman was tall, lean blond probably around her early 30s.
She looked at me with wide shocked eyes before turning to Mr. Blade. I watched as they exchange a few words of silence.
She then cleared her throat and introduces herself to me.
"I am sorry. You just looked like someone I know" she said as I frowned.
Again?
I looked from Mr. Blade to Elizabeth. They looked at but frustrated and had a sad look on their face.
"Well. I forgot to welcome you to the company" she said as she extended her hand to me.
"Welcome to Anchor Corporate" She gave a huge grin and I smiled back accepting her handshake.
"Thank you"
At 5, the office was finally over. I met with my friends and went home in Sam's SUV. It was very tiring and since the distance is fairly far along with the evening traffic, I reached home around 7. The dinner was a blur with my parent's questions on the first day before I went straight to bed.

I looked around the garden with a sigh.
What do you call a situation where you know you are dreaming?
Oh right. Lucid dreaming.
I was lucid dreaming.
I looked around the garden confused. The mysterious man was nowhere to be found. I walked ahead following the path.
I stopped as I reached some kind of light.
"Hello Arabella" an unfamiliar voice came as my eyes widen. I looked around confused but there was no one.
"You won't see me. You shouldn’t see me." I voice said as I tensed.
Who is that?
"I didn’t mean to enter your dream but I wanted to meet you. I am more than happy when I granted you the wish to be united with your marked mate but remember to complete the mission I have given you" he said as I frowned.
"What? I do not understand. Who are you?"
The voice chuckled as I felt a very calm wind blow around me.
"You will remember everything real soon. Until then, my dear child" the voice said more dominant in my right year making me move to the opposite side.
"Time to wake up or you will be late," he said before my eyes snapped open.
The phone in my room was triggering and I sat up slamming my hand and shutting it.
"God" I groaned. It was the first time I got a dream that was not involving the mysterious guy. I didn’t try to think much as I quickly dress up in a black and white suit.
Once again Carter dropped me at the company. I let out a sigh of relief as I looked at my watch.
I mentally thanked for being early.
But before I could look up I bumped into a guy. Hands quickly grabbed around my waist as I looked up to a pair of oddly familiar gold eyes.
"Hello there," the man said as a shiver went down my spine. My head started to spin as I stumbled back.
"Careful there," he said as he held onto my waist tighter. He pulled me up straight and then removed his hand moving back.
It was the same guy. The one who made me cry unexpectedly. The one who….. The one who somehow reminds me of the dream.
I looked at him with caution. But he had a big genuine happiness across his face as he looked at me.
"It is good to see you again," he said leaning forward to my high looking at me with a very mesmerizing glow in his eyes. Seeing I didn’t reply anything, he raised his arms to touch my face.
"I am sorry. I will be late. My boss is waiting" I stumbled before dodging and running to the building.
Why did I bump into him out of all peoples! Why the f**k is he doing here?
OMG, why am I getting frustrated about him!
He must be someone who works here. No one other than the employees can enter unless that person is someone special to the company.
Oh my god. Why is this happening to me?! Now I have to be careful not to bump into him.
Great. Internship ruined.
