Vienna had never ridden a horse in her life, or so she had thought. But the feel of the saddle and the great power of the animal beneath her was familiar. Champion gave her comfort, whilst the dark forest and her darker thoughts did not.
She was leaving the kingdom. It was real, decided. She had barely begun her adventure, but quit it midway, and had chosen to return home.
